Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction from 4 May 2026
To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the Waterfront Promenade from 4 May 2026. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading towards Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the Waterfront Promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.

Get Crafty! – E-textile Garden Bag Charm by Engine Room
Participants will create a mini e-textile garden bag charm inspired by the hydrangeas on display. Through guided hand-stitching, learn how to use conductive thread to form a working circuit with lights on a base fabric layer, before designing a second layer with off-cut fabric pieces. The activity introduces basic electronics through craft, making technology approachable, hands-on, and playful.

Important Information:
- Onsite registration only. Slots are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
- This activity is suitable for ages 8 and above. Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Gardens by the Bay reserves the right to amend any programme without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
