Partnering with us

Gardens by the Bay covers only a portion of its operating costs through various revenue streams such as attraction ticket sales, event venue hire, retail and donations. With more than 90% of the Gardens' recreational garden spaces, facilities and community programmes freely accessible to the public, every donation supports our work – be it showcasing nature's beauty, curating meaningful community events & educational programmes, or advancing environmental sustainability.

Environmental Sustainability

Gardens by the Bay strives to be a model and advocate of environmental sustainability in developing and maintaining the Garden’s landscape. The Gardens was designed and built with environmental sustainability in mind. The innovative cooling system for the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, along with the lake system at the Dragonfly and Kingfisher Lakes, has positioned the Gardens as a role model for sustainable garden design and development locally and internationally. Families, students and the community at large can experience the thriving ecosystem and rich biodiversity at the Gardens, and learn about the creative use of design and technology for long-term environmental conservation and sustainability. For more information on the Gardens’ sustainability efforts, please click here.

Looking ahead, Gardens by the Bay plans to move beyond its current sustainability practices and explore new opportunities to work with like-minded partners to turn green ambitions into action. We invite you to join us on this journey by making a tax-deductible donation, which will help seed various projects that aim to raise the environmental sustainability bar at the Gardens and encourage our visitors to be stewards of the environment in their own ways for the benefit of future generations. To support our cause, please contact us to find out more.

Increasing Awareness of the World's Declining Ecosystems

Gardens by the Bay advocates environmental protection by promoting public appreciation of sustainable biodiversity in our fragile ecosystems. A key element of these outreach efforts is the Sixth Extinction exhibition at the Cloud Forest Gallery. Using impactful visuals and interactive models, the exhibition examines the impact of rapid human population growth, especially its effect on the alarming extinction of biological species across the planet.

Since 2017, the exhibition inspired more than 100,000 educators and students from schools and other educational institutions, and over eight million local and international visitors, to learn how ecosystems are being destroyed by human activities and how they can adjust their behaviour to help preserve biodiversity for a more sustainable future.

Support our campaign (from 10 December 2021 to 9 December 2022) by making a tax-deductible donation, to raise community awareness of the impact of climate change and promote environmental sustainability.

Contribute to the Sixth Extinction exhibition now via LiveBetter – a new sustainability initiative on DBS digibank that's empowering all DBS customers to make a real impact on our world, together. Available now on DBS and POSB digibank.

Gardens by the Bay is a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status. Tax deduction for a minimum donation of $10 will be automatically included in your tax assessment when you provide us with your NRIC/FIN/UEN number.
