It’s FREE, so mark your calendars and make it a fun outing out with all your pals and the entire family!

Who will be performing at the Gardens by the Bay & Mediacorp National Day Concert?

What other activities can I look forward to at the Gardens by the Bay & Mediacorp National Day Concert?

Starting from 4pm on 10 and 11 August 2019, come by and participate in family fun activities. Catch a special screening of Fried Rice Paradise – The Drama Series, and watch your favourite radio DJs from Class 95, 987 and Gold 90.5 go LIVE on-air from the mobile studio at The Meadow and expect exciting merchandise to be won in games and activities conducted by DJs from YES 933, Love 972, Ria 897, Oli 968, CNA 938, Warna 942 and Capital 958.

Download the Toggle or MeRadio app and be the first 1,000 to enjoy complimentary ice-cream to cool down while you utilise the free charging stations to juice up your mobile devices when you hang out at the “Charge Up” area.

Other activities to look out for include face-painting, balloon sculpting and sand-art workshops and SAFRA’s gigantic 20-metre-long inflatable challenge, which will be a delight for all kids. Refuel and recharge by buying food and drinks from the food trucks stationed around The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes! Transform the occasion into a boisterous picnic for the entire family by packing your own food and beverages. You are also invited to check out the delicious items for sale at the food trucks and stalls stationed at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay.

Will there be seats?

This is a free-standing event, but some seats will be provided for those who need them most. You are free to sit or stand at your own designated corner to enjoy the performances, so head down early to stake out a spot for yourself!

Mats are welcome! Huge chairs and inflatable seats would block your neighbours’ view and we would not really want that.

  • Weapons and sharp objects of any kind (including long umbrellas, guns, metal, or ceramic knives, corkscrews etc)
  • Flammable items & liquids (aerosols, fireworks, etc)

What if it rains when the show is on?

The organiser will be monitoring conditions according to the National Environment Agency’s weather advisories. Activities will continue in the event of light rain. Should there be heavy rain with thunder and lighting, all activities will be halted until further notice.
