2.00pm - 2.45pm
3.00pm - 3.45pm
Join us for a calming, hands-on session where you'll learn to create your own miniature garden using everyday recyclable materials such as plastic containers and repurposed pieces. The programme is free, and participants can bring home their own terrarium.
This session is guided by Mr Richard, a trainer from Caregivers Alliance Limited and a caregiver to a loved one with dementia. A highlight of the session will be his heartfelt sharing about the emotional and physical toll of caregiving, and how he found unexpected comfort in the simple act of caring for plants.
Whether you come to craft, connect, or just catch your breath, this session offers a chance to discover how nature can soothe, inspire and gently remind us to care for others as well as ourselves.
This workshop is a partnership between Caregivers Alliance Limited and Gardens by the Bay as part of the Gift of Gardens community outreach initiative.
