Sunflower Surprise: Garden by the Ocean
Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
   This Contest is jointly organised by Gardens by the Bay and Turkish Airlines (“Organisers”).   
2. One (1) pair of Economy Class round-trip tickets on Turkish Airlines to Portugal (“Prize”) is available to be won. The winner may choose either Porto or Lisbon as the destination. The Prize is valid for travel from Singapore only; any other departure points are not included. 
   The Contest will run from 9 October 2026 and end on 9 November 2026, both dates inclusive (“Contest Period”) Any entries received outside the Contest Period shall be deemed invalid and will not be considered. 
3. Eligibility
   To be eligible for the contest, you must: 
   1. Be at least 18 years old and is a Singapore Resident. “Singapore Resident” refers to Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, as well as those living in Singapore, including Employment Pass, Work Permit and Dependent Pass holders. 
   2. Not be an employee of, an immediate family member of an employee of Gardens by the Bay, Turkish Airlines or any agency, service provider or individual engaged by Gardens by the Bay or Turkish Airlines in connection with the event. “Immediate family members” refer to spouses, children, parents, and siblings. 
   3. Purchase a Local Resident Flower Dome admission ticket during the Contest Period or hold a valid Friends of the Gardens (FOG) membership.
   4. Submit a valid entry to the contest by scanning the designated QR code at the contest board located in Flower Dome and completing the official entry form during the Contest Period.
   5. Each eligible participant is limited to one (1) entry only for the duration of the Contest Period, irrespective of the number of Flower Dome admission tickets purchased or visits made. Should multiple entries be submitted by the same participant, only the first valid entry received will be accepted and subsequent entries will be disregarded. 
4. Contest Rules
   1. To participate in this Contest, eligible participants must:
      1. Visit Flower Dome during the Contest Period. 
      2. Scan the QR code on the contest board located at the Flower Dome at the Viewing Gallery and near the floral display to complete the participation form and answer a simple question. 
   2. Entries must be submitted between 9:00am on 9 October 2026 and 11:59pm on 9 November 2026 (both dates inclusive).
   3. The time of submission shall be as recorded by the Organiser, and such record shall be final and conclusive. 
   4. Late submissions will not be entertained. 
   5. Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, duplicated, tampered with, fraudulent, or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms & Conditions shall be disqualified. 
   6. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to eligibility qualification and selection shall be final, conclusive, and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. 
5. Contest Winner Selection and Notification
   1. One (1) winner with the correct answer will be randomly selected by the Organisers from valid entries received during the Contest Period. 
   2. ​The selected winner will be notified via the email address provided in their entry form within ten (10) calendar days after the end of the Contest Period.
   3. ​​If a selected winner fails to respond within the date stipulated in the email notifying the winner to respond (“Stipulated Deadline”), declines or forfeits the Prize, or is subsequently found to be ineligible or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify the winner.​
   4. ​​​​Any prize that remains unclaimed by the Stipulated Deadline, shall be deemed forfeited and dealt with at the Organiser’s sole discretion. ​
   5. ​​The Organisers' decision on all matters relating to the Contest, including the selection of winners, shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence, queries or appeals will be entertained.​​
6. Prize Conditions
   1. Flight tickets must be booked and issued by 31 March 2027 and the travel period shall be from 23 November 2026 to 31 May 2027. Confirmation of booking is subject to availability and is not applicable during peak periods, including Singapore national school holidays and public holidays. 
   2. Flight tickets are non-exchangeable for cash, non-reroutable and non-transferable and may not be sold for cash credit or any other form of compensation.
   3. Ticket(s) is excluding applicable taxes and surcharges. Applicable taxes and surcharges to be paid fully by the prize winner.
   4. Traveller(s) is responsible to ensure that his/her passport is valid for travel and to check for any necessary visa requirements.
   5. The Organisers reserve the right to withdraw, cancel, amend or terminate the contest, in whole or in part, at any time, including after notification or acceptance by the winner, if circumstances so require. In such cases, the Organisers shall not be liable to provide any replacement prize, compensation or damages.
7. Personal Data
   1. By participating in the Contest, each participant consents to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data by the Organisers for the purposes of administering and conducting the Contest, including the verification of eligibility, winner selection, prize fulfilment and any other purpose reasonably related to the Contest, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
   2. For the purpose of prize redemption, the Organisers may collect, use and disclose the personal data of the winner and the accompanying guest to Turkish Airlines and or their affiliates and /or associates involved in the administration of the Prize. By accepting the Prize, the winner and the accompanying guest are deemed to have consented to such collection, use and disclosure for the stated purposes.
8. Liability
   1. ​​The Participant shall not hold the Organisers liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest or the acceptance use or enjoyment of the Prize or for any withdrawal, cancellation, amendment or termination of the Prize in any way whatsoever.​
9. ​​​​Governing Law and Jurisdiction​​​
   1. ​​​This Contest and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Contest or these Terms and Conditions, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.​​
10. ​​General​
    1. ​​​The Organisers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to amend, vary or update these Terms and Conditions, or to suspend or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice. ​​​
    2. ​​The Organisers shall not be held liable in the event that the contest is terminated or scaled-down or otherwise modified for any reason or cause beyond the control of the ​​​Organisers.​​​​
