Borealis will be rescheduled to 9.00pm - 9.15pm from Sat, 12 Sep to Sun, 27 Sep 2026 due to Mid-Autumn Festival.
Closure of Satay by the Bay from Thu, 1 Oct 2026. Other dining options available.
Satay by the Bay will close from 1 October 2026 to make way for a refreshed waterfront dining experience as part of the Wetlands by the Bay development.

Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction from 4 May 2026
To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the Waterfront Promenade from 4 May 2026. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading towards Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the Waterfront Promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.

Sunflower Surprise
The sights and stories of Portugal make port at Gardens by the Bay for its first Portuguese-themed floral display, Sunflower Surprise: Garden by the Ocean in Flower Dome. Shaped by centuries of seafaring and known for its sun-soaked coastal towns, the display captures the country's character through its maritime history, everyday traditions and agricultural heritage.
Journey through Alfama, one of Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhoods, before exploring Portugal’s coastal heritage through the striped houses of fishing town Costa Nova, a 6m-tall Farol de Belém lighthouse, and the bow of a traditional Portuguese carrack.
Moving inland, the display highlights Portugal’s agricultural traditions through vineyards, olive groves, and cork oaks, alongside recreations of historic Porto shopfronts and Lisbon's iconic street kiosks.
Bringing the elements together are more than 5,000 sunflowers across 20 varieties, evoking the sunflower fields of the Portuguese countryside, including supersized varieties that can grow up to 1.8m tall.
Presented in partnership with the Embassy of Portugal in Singapore and supported by AICEP – Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency, the floral display also commemorates 45 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Portugal.
