Change of Entrance for Far East Organization Children’s Garden from 26 Mar 2026
In anticipation of the upcoming works for Bay South-East bridge, the current entrance for Far East Organization Children’s Garden along the Waterfront Promenade will be closed. From 26 March 2026, please use the new entrance located near the Sun Pavilion.
Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction in Q2 2026
To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the waterfront promenade from Q2 2026. The exact implementation date will be announced at least two weeks in advance. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading toward Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the waterfront promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.

Soundscape Walk
Bird calls and songs feature abundantly in our lives but few of us give much thought to the role that sounds play in the life of birds. Join the Bird Society of Singapore and Gardens by the Bay as they take you through a programme that begins with an exciting soundscape walk that introduces you to the more common calls you can hear around you and connect them to the feathery faces that make them. This is followed by a talk that illuminates the importance of sound through bird ecology, research and conservation as well as the Gardens’ sustainability efforts.
