About the Speaker

Daniel Khaw is a retired Chief Operations Officer with a background in mechanical engineering and a diploma in brewing. His career spanned many years in the brewing industry, during which he managed major breweries and distilleries overseas, with a focus on technical excellence, efficiency, and organisational leadership.

In retirement, and with a lifelong passion for model trains, he enjoys sharing the creativity, craftsmanship, and joy behind the hobby. Drawing on both his engineering roots and hands-on experience building layouts and repairing model trains, he brings an engaging and accessible perspective to the world of model railways.
