Rooted in Movement

by Singapore Association for Mental Health

Take a pause from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with yourself through movement and mindfulness. Rooted in Movement is a gentle dance and movement session set in nature. Drawing on practices inspired by yoga and guided creative exploration, the session invites participants to tune into their breath, senses and natural surroundings, to cultivate inner peace and find calm.

No dance experience is required - all are welcome. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for gentle movement, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Those with existing health conditions, injuries or mobility concerns that may affect participation should inform the facilitator in advance so appropriate accommodations can be made.

The full activity fee goes to support the Singapore Association for Mental Health and its services.
