Mission: Pollination
Workshop

Explore how flowers and pollinators work together to ensure the survival of plant populations! Participants will learn about the importance of pollination through sight, smell, and other hands-on activities.

In this workshop, you and your child will learn about:

  • What pollinators are and their relationship with plants
  • Why pollinators are important
  • How environmental changes affect pollinators and plants
  • Ways to protect pollinators around us and in turn, protect the world we live in


Activity highlights include:

  • Investigate flowers with their senses and their connection with pollination
  • Learning about pollinators through puppetry and other hands-on activities
  • Explore the outdoor gardens, record the flowers and pollinators they see and contribute to citizen science!
