The tradition of crafting and displaying of Chinese lanterns to celebrate festivals dates back to the Han Dynasty in China and are closely related to traditional Chinese culture and customs. In Singapore, lanterns are hung outside homes, temples and clan associations and included in lantern displays during celebrations like the Spring Lantern Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.
Discover the fun of crafting a lantern uniquely yours while celebrating the joyous spirit of the Festival. Pre-registration is required.

The dragon dance is a traditional Chinese performance where a team of dancers uses poles to animate a dragon prop in rhythmic movements. This dance is commonly performed during Chinese festivals such as Lunar New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival, as well as other special occassions.
Create your own paper dragon garland, mimicking the traditional dragon dance, and watch it dance in your hands once assembled! Pre-registration is required.
