Asia & Pacific Band Directors' Association Conference 2025 Showcase Concert

The 22nd Asia and Pacific Band Directors' Association (APBDA) Conference, taking place from 22–26 August 2025, is an event that continues to champion the growth of band music and cultural exchange across the region. Bringing together around 1,500 participants—including musicians, bands, and directors from Singapore and abroad—this year’s conference features concerts, workshops, exhibitions, and outreach performances.

A key highlight is the weekend outreach at Gardens by the Bay’s Waterfront Plaza on 23 and 24 August, where 14 bands from Singapore and across Asia will perform. This community-focused segment reflects APBDA’s longstanding commitment to making band music accessible and visible to the public. Performances will also be held at venues such as the School of the Arts (SOTA) Concert Hall, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) Lee Foundation Theatre and the Esplanade Concert Hall, culminating in a Gala Concert by the National Youth Winds and the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band.
