Book a Visit Time Slot

All members are required to pre-book their visit date via our membership portal before visiting the Gardens to ensure safe distancing and better regulate crowds. Members need to access the e-Card via the membership portal or Gardens by the Bay mobile App and scan your QR code to gain entry to the attraction.

Kindly note that we have discontinued the issuance of physical card for new sign-ups and renewals with effect from 1 July 2020.

To ensure safe distancing and for better crowd regulation, all members are required to book an admission time slot via the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App and to visit the attraction during the selected time slot. This will help to create a safer environment for all.

To enjoy the full app functionalities and features, please book an admission time slot via the Gardens by the Bay mobile app.

  1. Download Gardens by the Bay mobile application from Google Play Store or Apple Store.
  2. Open the mobile app, input your Name and Mobile Number and follow the instructions to sign in to the App.
  3. After you have successfully signed in, click on “Friends” icon, followed by “Book a Visit”, “Book Now”, select the attraction(s), number of visitors, date and time of visit.

Your membership is tied to your registered mobile number or email. If you are not able to see your membership e-Card (“My Membership Card”) on the “Friends” page, it is likely that the mobile number or email you used to log in to the app differs from our membership records. Please email us at friends@gardensbythebay.com.sg (with your name, 20-digit membership number, mobile number and email) to enable us to update our membership records. Once the records have been updated, please log out and sign in to the app again. You should now be able to access your membership e-Card.

Members are allowed to book up to a total of 3 active time slots at any one time. This is to allow more members to visit during this period. If you would like to book another time slot, please utilise the booked time slot before proceeding with another booking. You may also opt to cancel your booking and rebook another time slot.

Sign in to Gardens by the Bay mobile app, click on “Friends” icon, followed by “Book a Visit”, “Book Now”, select the attraction(s), number of visitors (based on the total number of registered family members including yourself who will be visiting), date and time of visit.

Yes, individual members can also make a time-slot booking for other members at the same time, up to a maximum of 5 members (including yourself) for each timeslot. Members may be required to show their e-Card or physical card at the entrance as proof of membership.

To do so, simply sign in to Gardens by the Bay mobile app, click on “Friends” icon, followed by “Book a Visit”, “Book Now”, select the attraction(s), number of visitors (based on the total number of members including yourself who will be visiting), date and time of visit.

Main cardmembers of Family and Family Plus memberships will be able to see multiple e-Cards of supplementary members under the same Family or Family Plus membership. You can update the mobile number and email address of the supplementary member(s) via the Mobile App. Thereafter, the supplementary member(s) can access their own e-Card via the Mobile App, as membership access is tied to the registered mobile number/email.



General FAQs

Friends of the Gardens is the official membership programme by Gardens by the Bay. It is our way of reaching out and engaging with our visitors from all walks of life. There are five types of membership, which are ideal for families and individual visitors. The memberships provide great savings for our visitors and can be renewed on a yearly basis.

Friends of the Gardens enjoy privileges and perks such as:

  • Unlimited admission to the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and OCBC Skyway
  • Free parking for the first 2 hours of every visit (not applicable for Child/Student cardholders)
  • Invitations to the Gardens’ workshops and events
  • Exclusive dining and retail privileges, plus birthday treats
  • eWelcome Pack with specially-selected dining and shopping vouchers

You can sign up for Friends of Gardens membership online or via the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App. Download the app from either Google Play Store or Apple Store, click on the “Friends” icon in the app and follow the instructions to sign up for a new membership. For Student membership sign-up, please get ready your Student ID as you will be required to upload your full-time Student ID during application.

Please relaunch the app upon completion of sign-up, and click on the “Friends” icon to access to your membership e-Card details. Your membership access is tied to your registered mobile number / email.

Log in to Gardens by the Bay mobile app, click on “Friends” icon , followed by “My Membership Card”, and “Renew Membership”. Follow the on-screen instructions, check out and make payment.

Upon successful renewal, your renewed expiry date will be reflected on your e-Card in the App. You will also receive an email confirmation.

*Your membership is tied to your registered mobile number or email. If you are not able to see your membership e-Card (“My Membership Card”) on the “Friends” page, please contact us via friends@gardensbythebay.com.sg (with your name, 20-digit membership number, mobile telephone number and email) to enable us to update our membership records.

A new sign-up is defined as where the applicant is either:
- Joining Friends of the Gardens for the first time or;
- A former member who takes up a membership again or;
- A current member who is taking up a new membership category.

A renewal is defined as when a current member continues his/her membership for another year under the same* membership category within the membership validity period (and for Family/Family Plus membership, the main cardholder remain unchanged).

*With the exception of an Individual Adult member who renews to Senior membership. In order to qualify, the member would need to meet the age requirement of Senior membership (i.e. 60 years old or above) at the point of renewal. The membership system will recognise that you are eligible for Senior membership based on your date of birth, and automatically allow you to renew to a Senior membership.

Your membership validity period is indicated on your membership e-Card. To check your membership expiry date, simply log in to your membership e-Card via Gardens by the Bay app, click on the “Friends” icon, followed by “My Membership Card”.

For new sign-ups, the membership expiry date will be one (01) year from the date of application. For renewals, the renewed membership expiry date will be one (01) year from the current membership expiry date.

To enjoy the full app features and functionalities, please access your membership e-Card via Gardens by the Bay mobile app. Simply download the app from Google Play Store or Apple Store, log-in to the app, click on the “Friends” icon, and you will be able to view your membership e-Card and other features which is accessible only by Friends of the Gardens (non-members will see a message to “Sign up” on this page). Membership is tied to your registered mobile number/email.

Alternatively, you may access your e-Card through your web browser via https://friends.gardensbythebay.com.sg/.

There are no changes to the membership benefits with the switch to e-Card. Instead, members get to enjoy greater convenience with the e-Card, including:

  1. Booking admission time slot prior to visiting the Gardens.
  2. Scanning the e-Card to gain entry to the attractions for a contactless visiting experience.
  3. Automatically accorded the 2-hour complimentary parking based on the IU number that members had provided. For new sign-ups, please allow 5 working days for IU numbers to be uploaded onto our car park system.

Upon signing up, you will receive an email and SMS. Simply click on the link and follow the instructions to activate your e-Card.

There is no need to return the membership card to us.



Membership Benefits

Our new complimentary 2-hour parking via Contactless Carpark Entry system accords free parking to members via automated recognition of car IU. It is applicable for our Main Entrance, The Meadow, Satay by the Bay or Bayfront Plaza car parks. Terms and conditions apply.

To apply, simply download Gardens by the Bay mobile app, click “Friends”, “My Particulars”, and submit both your Car Plate and IU numbers. Processing takes at least 5 working days (excluding Weekends & Public Holidays). Members will receive a confirmation email once their car details have been successfully registered to the car park system. In the interim period, members may still continue to redeem their 2-hour parking coupons from our Redemption Centre.

Simply present your Friends of the Gardens membership e-Card when placing your order to enjoy the F&B privileges. Please note that you may be asked for your identification card for verification purposes.

In addition to flash-card privileges, we have e-voucher deals for members as well. Redeem your e-vouchers via our Gardens by the Bay Mobile App. Simply open your app and navigate to “Membership Privileges” to view your perks.

Emails will be sent to members to keep you informed about the upcoming events and programmes. You may wish to provide your email address if you did not do so during the time of application. You could do so at the Redemption Centre or write in to friends@gardensbythebay.com.sg.



Renewals

You can renew your membership any time before it expires. Your renewed membership will commence on the expiry date of your current membership.

You can simply check your membership validity period, which is indicated on your membership e-Card.

A renewal is defined as when a current member continues his/her membership for another year under the same* membership category within the membership validity period (and for Family/Family Plus membership, the main cardholder remains unchanged). Renewal promotion will not be applicable for you in this case.

*With the exception of an Individual Adult member who wishes to renew to a Senior membership. The member would need to meet the age requirement of Senior membership (i.e. 60 years old or above) at the point of renewal transaction to qualify. Members who require such renewals can do so at our Redemption Centre.

You do not need to collect a membership card, as we have discontinued issuance of physical membership cards with effect from 1 July 2020. Members can now enjoy the convenience of a membership e-Card. Upon successful membership renewal, your extended membership validity date will be immediately reflected on your membership e-Card.

Yes, you can. The membership system will recognise that you are eligible for Senior membership based on your date of birth, and automatically allow you to renew to a Senior membership. Your renewed membership expiry date for Senior membership will be 8 June the year after.

You will need to meet the age requirement of a Senior membership (i.e. 60 years or above) at the point of renewal to qualify. You can renew from an Individual Adult to a Senior membership after you have turned 60 years old.



Child/Student Membership

You can sign up for a Friends of the Gardens (Child) membership online or via the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App. Download the app from either Google Play Store or Apple Store, click on the “Friends” icon in the app and follow the instructions to sign up for a new membership. Click here to download the mobile app.
