Measuring between 25 and 50 metres tall, Gardens by the Bay's Supertrees are designed with large canopies that provide shade in the day and come alive with an exhilarating display of lights and sounds at night. Stand in awe amidst these iconic giants, stroll along the 22-metre-high OCBC Skyway and enjoy panoramic vistas of the Gardens and the Marina Bay skyline at our new Supertree Observatory.
Of the 18 Supertrees in Gardens by the Bay, 12 of them can be found here at Supertree Grove, with the tallest one measuring up to 16 storeys in height. Make a trip to the top of one of these towering Supertrees and be awed by splendid views of the Gardens and the surrounding Marina Bay area.
Come and be dazzled by the magnificent sight of our Supertrees and immerse yourself in the lights and background music every night, from 7.00pm - 10.00pm.
Over 162,900 plants comprising more than 200 species and varieties of bromeliads, orchids, ferns and tropical flowering climbers are planted on the Supertrees.
Sitting 22 metres above ground, the OCBC Skyway was constructed to give visitors the unique sensation of floating above the ground.
68 independent audio speakers are used during each Garden Rhapsody show, simulating 'live' musicians performing at various spots.
11 of the Supertrees are embedded with environmentally sustainable functions like photovoltaic cells to harvest solar energy.
