Now synonymous with local radio, Jean has been in the industry for almost 2 decades, hosting the top-rated evening Cartunes on Class 95FM. Also a television presenter, Jean has become a common sight hosting events such as Asian Television Awards, National Day Parade celebrations and New Year's Eve Countdown parties.
Felicia Chin could not have started her career in Mediacorp with more fanfare. She beat her Malaysian and China counterparts in Star Search 2003 (a biennial talent contest), and became the first Singaporean champion ever since the contest went regional in 1997.
Desmond acted alongside Qi Yuwu and Joanne Peh in a blockbuster, A Song To Remember, where his role as a heroic rickshaw puller left a deep impression on the audience. As the male metropolitan icon of Singapore entertainment scene, Desmond is hot on the fashion scenes with numerous invites from international high end brands for events and shoots.
One of the Top 10 finalists of “Star Search 2010”, James has won hordes of admirers and a management contract with MediaCorp with his charming good looks and suave image.
Aside from acting, James is skilled in digital media design, dabbles in photography and has done numerous of song covers.
Richie was first discovered on Channel U’s campus talent hunt show Hey Gorgeous 2013 where he emerged the runner-up for the season. Since his debut 4 years ago, Richie’s stellar performances in various local drama series such as When Duty Calls, 118 Reunion and Divided have left a lasting impression on viewers. These landed him his first nomination for “Best Newcomer” in Star Awards 2018.
A natural-born performer with strong vocal prowess, captivating showmanship and mesmerizing aura, Taufik Batisah won the hearts of the masses when he was crowned the first ever Singapore Idol on 1 Dec 2004. With a wide music repertoire of jazz, sentimental ballads to street hip hop and pop, he has well-established himself a versatile performer and one of the region’s biggest stars since emerging to stardom.
Having resided in Taipei from 2007-2012, JJ's teenage years were spent immersed in both English and Mandarin pop songs. As a result, she thoroughly enjoyed performing songs for various school events. JJ was also heavily involved in her school's theatre program, where she wrote, directed, and starred in countless plays.
Daryl-Ann came in 3rd in SPOP Sing! in 2018. Though not of pure Chinese descent, she is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She taught herself to play the piano, guitar, ukulele and drums. Daryl-Ann's passion for performing began when she enrolled in a Centralised Institute, participating in various activities such as Chinese Drama and Solo Performances (Singing).
Fang Rong has been modelling and in commercials since young and was introduced to the acting industry at a tender age of seven, and has been filled with passion for acting ever since. To Fang Rong, both filming and performing arts have impacted her life in ways she could never have imagined, and acting will always play a huge part of her life.
Entering her first singing competition at the age of 11, Liwani was spotted and thus, landed her first gig performing live for a gala and subsequently, was presented the opportunity to perform for the president and prime minister of Singapore at the age of 12. Liwani released her first debuting single "Adakah dia" expanding her singing career in both Singapore and Malaysia.
27 year old aspiring artist Sharon Shobana pursues her passion in the performing arts which first started with singing. Inculcated by her mother, a veteran singer in media, Sharon's aspiration began at a young age. The early stages of her youth have not only nurtured her but also boosted her confidence and talent, allowing her to participate in singing competitions and attaining 6 gold medals. Sharon has also been writing and producing her own music. She released her first track in 2019, titled 'Vizhigal', with a renowned Malaysian rapper, Psychomantra.
Gurmit Singh made his debut in the variety show Live on 5 in 1994 before he became the host and lead actor of sitcom Gurmit's World, which featured the first appearance of a character named Phua Chu Kang during its second season. The funnyman is now on the morning airwaves, as he joins Mike Kasem and Vernetta Lopez on the refreshed LIVE! With Mike, Vernetta & Gurmit on GOLD 905, weekdays, 6 – 10am.
Suhaimi (Jojo Joget)
With 21 years’ experience in the media industry spanning radio and TV, Suhaimi is a household name both in the Malay and mainstream channels in Singapore. Suhaimi has spread his creativity behind the camera as director, writer and producer for his numerous VCD / DVD productions, receiving “The Best 100% Singapore Production” award from Life Records (Singapore & Malaysia).
A stand-up comedian, host, and entertainer, Kumar has been a fixture of Singapore’s entertainment scene for almost 3 decades. Born Kumarason Chinnadurai, he has become famous for his unique drag queen persona, along with his caustic wit and biting observations about life in Singapore, particularly about politics, race, and sex.
Nathan Hartono is a multi-hyphenate; a Singaporean singer-songwriter-actor who simply cannot be pigeon-holed. Since winning a singing competition over a decade ago, he has gone on to release three albums, star in a feature film and perform on hundreds of stages around the world. He has since been appointed as ambassador for Singapore’s Ministry of Education’s Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning, and garnered a multitude of successful brand partnerships.
Singaporean breakthrough artiste Yung Raja has been dubbed as Southeast Asia’s next avant-garde bilingual hip hop artiste, known for his tasteful unification of Western and Tamil culture in his lyrics.Born and raised in Singapore, Yung Raja aims to reinvent societal views in and out of his homeland, inspire the next generation of cultural conservators, and elevate Southeast Asian hip hop to world class stages through his music. In 2019, the rapper signed to Def Jam South East Asia.
Born in Singapore, educated in Fine-arts, and inducted into the music industry in Los Angeles, Inch has made a career as an international recording and performing artist. Her passion for the arts, wild places, and technology has led her to play at numerous festivals around the world and experimenting in a variety of art forms.
Jarrell Huang is a fun-loving and outgoing singer who loves to bring joy to his audience; hoping to touch people's hearts through his voice and charisma. He has aspired to be an artiste since young, appearing on a China singing show, “Sound of My Dream 2“ in 2017 and released his EP album “Little Prince’s Adventure” when he was 14 years old.
