Enthusiasts Webinar Series: Light

Light has a fundamental importance to plants because it is the only source of energy. Therefore, plants growing under any condition face a challenge of managing light energy capture. Using some examples, we will discuss the light requirements of plants that are generally classified into two groups, sun-loving and shade-loving plants; as well as some practices you can adopt during cultivation that will promote optimal light utilisation in these plants and encourage good plant growth. We will also touch briefly on the use of supplementary grow lights in cultivating plants under poor natural light conditions. Participants are encouraged to share their questions regarding light with the trainer during the Q&A segment at the end of the webinar.

This webinar is part of the Enthusiasts Webinar Series.
