A highlight of the showcase is the age-old tradition of mochi pounding. Watch as a wooden mallet rhythmically pounds steamed rice into soft, sticky mochi. This communal practice, often seen during festive celebrations, reflects the spirit of togetherness at the heart of Japanese culture.
This limited-time experience offers a lively introduction to Japan’s heritage, brought to life through flavour, craft and shared moments.
