Blue Anole
The blue anole (Anolis gorgonae), a "Near Threatened" sky-blue lizard, is native to Gorgona Island, Colombia, and is known for its distinct male throat flap used for attracting females.
Chiribiquete Emerald
The Chiribiquete emerald hummingbird (Chlorostilbon olivaresi), characterised by the male's metallic green plumage, is a native species exclusive to Colombia's Chiribiquete National Park.
Golden Poison Dart Frog
The golden poison dart frog (Phyllobates terribilis), the world's most poisonous amphibian from Colombia's Pacific rainforest, is used by the Eperãra Siapidaarä people for hunting due to its potent toxin.
