Changes to walking routes during River Hongbao from 15 - 24 Feb 2026
- In preparation of River Hongbao 2026, Supertree Grove and The Meadow will be closed to the public from:
- 15 & 16 Feb 2026: 5.30pm to 6.30pm
- 17 – 24 Feb 2026: 1.30pm to 2.30pm
- Admission to River Hongbao 2026 is free and Supertree Grove and The Meadow will be gated for the event. Visitors walking through Supertree Grove to access other parts of the Gardens, or to catch Garden Rhapsody and Borealis, will be required to undergo bag checks at the River Hongbao entrance checkpoints. Closure of Meadow Carpark on 15 Feb 2026
Meadow Carpark will be closed on 15 Feb 2026 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Alternative car parks are available at Main Entrance, Bayfront Plaza and Satay by the Bay.
Rescheduling of show timing for Borealis on 15 – 24 Feb 2026
Borealis show timings during River Hongbao period (15 – 24 Feb 2026) will be rescheduled to 8.00pm to 8.15pm on Monday, Saturday and Sunday.

Important Notice
- Borealis will be cancelled in the event of rain during show times.
- From 15 - 24 Feb 2026, Borealis show timing will be resheduled from 8.00pm - 8.15pm on Monday, Saturday and Sunday.
- From 15 - 24 Feb 2026, visitors entering Supertree Grove to catch the Borealis experience will be required to undergo bag checks at various River Hongbao checkpoints. Get to experience the Northern Lights in Singapore with Borealis, an immersive light and sound installation at Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove!
Created by Switzerland-based artist Dan Acher, Borealis is an outdoor art installation that combines layers of light and cloud particles where the magical splendour of the Northern Lights, also known as aurora borealis, is recreated to illuminate the night skies of Supertree Grove. Accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack by French composer Guillaume Desbois, variations in wind, humidity and temperature make this installation a fascinating blend of art and technology, an ever-changing experience, where each encounter is unique and where nature holds the final say.
Borealis has travelled to more than 40 cities across Europe, Australia, Asia and the US, and the experience at Gardens by the Bay will mark its first time in Singapore.
Be transported to a place far away, where time slows down as your eyes look up.
