Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction from 4 May 2026
To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the Waterfront Promenade from 4 May 2026. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading towards Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the Waterfront Promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.

A Special Turkish Music Concert
Echoes of Istanbul
Step into the timeless world of İstanbul through an enchanting afternoon of traditional Turkish music at Echoes of Istanbul.
Held alongside the Blue Beauties floral display at Gardens by the Bay, this special performance invites audiences to experience the rich musical heritage of Türkiye, shaped by centuries of history and the meeting of civilisations along the Bosphorus.
The concert features traditional Turkish instruments including the oud, a richly resonant string instrument; the kanun, known for its delicate melodies; the ney, a soulful reed flute; and the bendir, a rhythmic frame drum. Together, they create music that is meditative and deeply expressive, transporting listeners to the palaces, waterfronts and hidden courtyards of old Istanbul.
Like the city itself, Turkish classical music is refined yet passionate, bridging East and West, tradition and timelessness.
