Leaving A Legacy

Students will learn about the reproduction of plants as they observe a range of animal-pollinated and wind-pollinated plants in Flower Dome. 

They will learn:

  • To identify the parts of a flower and state their functions
  • About the process of pollination and fertilisation
  • How to compare an insect-pollinated and a wind-pollinated flower
  • How to apply the knowledge gained to real-life and hypothetical situations
  • How to convey experiences and ideas with images and writing
