Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction from 4 May 2026
To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the Waterfront Promenade from 4 May 2026. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading towards Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the Waterfront Promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.

You’ve been visiting Gardens by the Bay for a while now — what keeps bringing you back? Is there a time of day, season, or spot in the Gardens that feels especially yours? Tell us about it.
The changing light, weather, and atmosphere always give me something new to capture. I especially enjoy visiting around sunset or blue hour, when the shifting colours of the sky and the illuminated Supertrees create some of the most photogenic conditions. The Supertree Grove remains one of my favourite spots because it offers a unique perspective of Singapore that feels both futuristic and timeless.
Gardens by the Bay was just voted No. 3 Top Attraction in the World on Tripadvisor. When you saw that, what went through your mind — did it surprise you, or did it feel entirely right? In your own words, what makes the Gardens extraordinary?
Seeing Gardens by the Bay ranked No. 3 in the world felt completely deserved. Few places capture Singapore's identity as well as the Gardens do. It's not just an attraction, it showcases how nature, architecture, and innovation can coexist. Every visit reminds me why it's become one of the most recognizable and photographed landmarks here.
Have you ever brought a friend or visitor from overseas to the Gardens? What was that like — what did you show them first? If someone who had never been to Singapore asked you “should I go to Gardens by the Bay?”, what would you tell them?
Absolutely. It’s usually one of the first places I bring friends visiting Singapore. It gives them a glimpse of what makes the city unique: lush greenery set against an iconic skyline. I normally start at the Supertree Grove before exploring the surrounding waterfront. If someone asked whether they should visit, my answer would be an easy yes; it's one of the best places to experience Singapore in a single visit.

"I was drawn to the layers of light, colour, and scale, using the surrounding foliage to frame the Supertrees and create depth. It remains one of my favourites because it captures the futuristic character of the Gardens in a single frame."
