Supertree Grove & Supertree Observatory
Supertrees are synonymous with Gardens by the Bay and have become a distinct part of the Singapore skyline since the Gardens officially opened in June 2012.
Supertree Grove
Twelve of the 18 iconic structures reside in Supertree Grove. Inspired by mature trees in the rainforest, these man-made Supertrees are home to a large array of plant life. The vertical planting panels installed on the trunks are populated with various species of bromeliads, orchids, ferns and flowering climbers which thrive in Singapore’s tropical climate.
When dusk falls, the Supertrees light up and a magical glow spreads across Supertree Grove. This is where the light and sound spectacle, Garden Rhapsody, mesmerises visitors each evening!
Supertree Observatory
Housed within the tallest Supertree in Supertree Grove, the Supertree Observatory provides panoramic views of the Gardens and its surrounding landmarks.
Augmented reality display
A floral-themed lift takes visitors to the observatory space where augmented reality (AR) display panels share an important message about climate change.
Rooftop Deck
A short flight of steps takes visitors to the open-air rooftop deck. Situated 50 metres above the ground, it offers unobstructed views of the Marina Bay area. The Supertree Observatory mobile app can be used to scan the skyline to unveil more information about the surroundings!
Stroll under the large canopies of the Supertrees or relax as you take in the stunning views from the Supertree Observatory the next time you visit Supertree Grove!
