If consuming fermented food such as 'Kimchi' does wonder to your health, then fermenting your food waste is a first step to lower your carbon footprint. What if food waste can be easily transformed into quality compost?
Compost is prized by gardeners, farmers and horticulturists because it is an excellent soil conditioner that increases the productivity of the soil. The EM Bokashi composting method is a relatively fast process that provides the benefits of fermentation by-products to help invigorate soils and grow healthy plants with a low-cost sustainable system.
Learn from our horticulturists on how to create quality compost from food waste at this exclusive workshop for members! Participants are encouraged to bring some food waste such as fruit peels, leftover rice, bread, coffee grounds and egg shells to the workshop.
