Meadow and area near the Planet sculpture will be temporarily closed from 2.00pm to 4.30pm on Sun, 2 Aug 2026, in preparation for the Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert. Entry will reopen from 4.30pm, subject to security screening.

For a better visiting experience and facilitate crowd movement, we seek your kind understanding that usage of tripods and camera stands will not be permitted in Floral Fantasy.
Bay South–Bay East Bridge Construction from 4 May 2026
To facilitate the construction of the bridge linking Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden, there will be no access for cyclists along the Waterfront Promenade from 4 May 2026. During the construction of the bridge, cyclists heading towards Marina Barrage are advised to take an alternative route around the perimeter of Bay South Garden. Pedestrians may still access the Waterfront Promenade, with a slight diversion to their route.

Get Crafty! – Kite Decorating and Assembly

Ever heard about kite fighting? Come relive or learn about the good old days when kite fighting used to be a common leisure activity in Singapore! Participants will get to stamp designs of purple orchids onto a piece of pre-cut ripstop fabric before gluing it onto a pre-made bamboo kite frame.
Kite dimensions are 13.5 x 17.5cm. A 50m kite string will also be provided.

Important Information:
- Onsite registration only. Slots are available on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last.
- This activity is suitable for ages 6 and above. Children below 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Kite flying (including remote-controlled kites) is prohibited throughout the Gardens.
- Gardens by the Bay reserves the right to amend any programme without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
