Explore mental well-being through the expressive art of Chinese ink painting in this thoughtful workshop led by the Singapore Association for Mental Health.
Discover the symbolism of the lotus in Chinese paintings, then try your hand at creating your own. As you apply ink on rice paper, experience a practice that invites both focus and calm, while offering space for quiet reflection.
Participants will also hear from a speaker living in recovery from schizophrenia, who will share how Chinese ink painting continues to support her well-being in everyday life.
This workshop is presented in partnership with the Singapore Association for Mental Health and Gardens by the Bay as part of the Gift of Gardens community outreach initiative. It is also part of a year-long wellness series at Gardens by the Bay, designed to inspire and equip participants with practical ways to nurture mental well-being through the therapeutic wonders of nature.
