When will Gardens by the Bay fully reopen?

With the safety of our visitors being our top priority, we are taking a cautious approach in reopening the Gardens. As such, our attractions and amenities will open progressively. Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and OCBC Skyway are now open to all visitors, from 9.00am - 9.00pm.

Far East Organization Children’s Garden is open as well from 9.00am - 7.00pm on weekdays, and 9.00am - 9.00pm on weekends & Public Holidays.

The rest of our attractions will remain closed until further notice.

Why is Flower Dome and Cloud Forest the only attractions open? How about other attractions?

To ensure visitors can enjoy the Gardens with peace of mind, we will be opening our attractions in phases for better crowd regulation. We will reopen the other attractions at later dates when social distancing controls are fully validated and we are certain of ensuring the safety of our visitors and staff at all times across our attractions and operations.

What is the next floral display coming up in Flower Dome?

As COVID-19 has disrupted the traditional flower supplies from Europe and the region, the current floral display features seasonal flowering plants native to colder climates grown fully in-house by the Gardens by the Bay team. 

In addition, mini garden displays, called Pocket Garden Surprises, will be introduced throughout the Flower Dome progressively to encourage visitors to explore the various nooks around Flower Dome. 

Ticketing & Admission

How can we purchase tickets to the attractions?

You may purchase timed tickets to the attractions from the Gardens by the Bay website or the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App (available in Google Play and App Store), which also includes a suite of features that will provide you with a more seamless experience at the Gardens.

Additionally, ticket purchase via the app will be entitled to the following: a discount of $1 off each ticket, 10% off selected merchandise and 50% off bottled drinks from Arrival Gift Shop*.

* The following terms and conditions shall apply:

  • Promotion is valid from 1 July - 30 September 2020
  • Not to be used in conjunction with other promotions or privilege cards.  
  • Selected merchandise is subject to promotion period.
  • Gardens by the Bay reserves the right to change the terms & conditions at any time without prior notice

Why are visitors required to select a time slot when purchasing tickets?

As the capacity of the attractions will be reduced significantly, visitors are required to apply for tickets with time slots for entry to help us stagger entry flow, even out the crowd throughout the day and prevent overcrowding at all times. 

One-hour entry time slots will be available for selection during the ticket purchase. If you arrive anytime within the one-hour time slot, you will be able to enter the attraction immediately, and exit anytime after your entry. 

Do Friends of the Gardens (FOG) members need to select a time slot to visit the attractions?

Yes, FOG members can pre-book their time slot to visit the attractions online or via the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App.

What if I miss my entry time?

If you arrive outside of your scheduled time slot, you may need to wait for the next available time slot.

I’m unable to visit on the date and time that I had selected earlier. Can I amend my booking?

If for some reason you are unable to visit during the selected day and time slot, you may reschedule here.

• For OCBC Skyway: Admission to OCBC Skyway is subject to weather conditions such as rain or lightning risks. For affected visits, visitors will be ushered to our latest attraction – Supertree Observatory. Alternatively, visitors may change the time slots by 11pm on the date of your scheduled visit, subject to availability.
• For Cloud Forest / Flower Dome: Visitors may change the time slots at least 48 hours before your scheduled visit, subject to availability. 

Why do I have to use the SafeEntry check-in if I already have the TraceTogether app?

SafeEntry is a national digital check-in system that logs the names, NRIC/FINs and mobile numbers of individuals visiting workplaces, business venues and public places to facilitate contact tracing efforts. The entry and exit records logged by SafeEntry will speed up the time required for contact tracing if required. The implementation and use of SafeEntry is mandated by the Singapore Government. SafeEntry can also be activated through Gardens by the Bay Mobile App or phone native scanning.

TraceTogether, which is also developed by the Singapore Government, works by exchanging short-distance Bluetooth signals between phones to detect other participating TraceTogether users in close proximity. Together, these two technologies provide critical information for contact tracing, should the need arise.

My tickets were bought from Klook / Travel Agencies / given by my company / corporate clients. How do I book my visiting time slots?

On our online ticketing page, please select the option “Ticket Replacement” to book your preferred date of visit and time slot. Please present the original ticket to our admission staff to gain entry to the attraction. 

My ticket was bought from Gardens by the Bay before Circuit Breaker was implemented and I have yet to utilise my ticket. Can I still book a visiting time slot?

On our online ticketing page, please select the option “Ticket Replacement” to book your preferred date of visit and time slot. Please present the original ticket to our admission staff to gain entry to the attraction. 

When can I start buying tickets to the attractions?

Tickets to the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and OCBC Skyway are available for purchase here or the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App, which can be downloaded from Google Play and App Store.

I am an Association of Singapore Attractions (ASA) / Public Assistance (PA) / Development Disability Registry (DDR) / Persons with Disability (PWD) / Corporate Friends of the Gardens cardholder / beneficiary of Gift of Gardens. How do I gain entry to the attractions?

Redemption of a physical ticket is required to gain entry to the attraction. Tickets can be redeemed at the Friends of the Garden (FOG) Centre daily from 9am - 7pm, subject to availability of time slots.

For beneficiaries of Gift of Gardens, each beneficiary is entitled to 1 complimentary ticket. For accompanying caregivers, they can purchase tickets here or the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App, which can be downloaded from Google Play and App Store. Tickets purchased from the mobile app are entitled to a $1 discount per ticket.

For ASA cardholders, kindly take note that free admission is only applicable to Cloud Forest. For Flower Dome, ticket purchase is required.

I am a PAssion, NTUC, SAFRA and HometeamNS cardholder. How do I buy tickets to the attractions?

What are the features available on the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App, how do they enhance my visiting experience?

The Gardens by the Bay Mobile App is designed to enable visitors to enjoy a contactless and safe visit to the Flower dome when they visit. Apart from the Smart Tracing feature that enhances the safety of visitors, the app will allow visitors to buy and scan their tickets to Flower Dome, perform SafeEntry check-in and check-out, and get real-time updates on crowd levels in the Gardens. A suite of other features tailored for our Friends of the Gardens (FOG) members and general visitors will be progressively introduced to enhance the enjoyment of your visits. Features that will be made available to both visitors and FOG members progressively from 29 June include the following*:

Safe Distancing & Other Safety Measures

What are some of the measures implemented at Gardens by the Bay to safeguard visitors’ well-being?

Safe distancing measures at our enclosed attractions, such as limiting the number of visitors allowed and implementing a contactless ticketing and admission control system so that visitors can enjoy the Gardens with a peace of mind. Other safety measures include:

  • Wearing of face shields and face masks by staff at all times
  • Disinfection and cleaning to be carried out frequently throughout the gardens, especially at key visitor touch points
  • Availability of hand sanitisers for visitors’ use
  • Safe distancing measures and reduced capacity for Shuttle Service
  • Single direction visitor flow within the attractions
  • Suspension of re-entry for visitors to ensure capacity does not exceed permissible limit
  • Installation of transparent partitions at information and retail counters for added protection for visitors and staff

Wedding Solemnisation at Gardens by the Bay

How many people can I invite to my solemnisation?

As per government guidelines, you may invite up to 50 people (excluding the Solemniser) from 4 August 2020. The 50 persons will include you and your spouse-to-be, two witnesses, and all guests. Guests should be split into fixed groups of up to 5 persons each, with no intermingling or mixing between groups.

Where can I hold my solemnisation at Gardens?

Flower Field Hall, Waterview Room, Silver Leaf and Supertree Observatory are venue spaces suitable for your solemnisation event. Contact us to find out more about the wedding solemnisation package.

Can I remove my masks during the exchange of vows, to kiss and for photo-taking?

All attendees are to wear masks at all times, with the exception of the bride and groom who may wear face shields instead. Masks may be removed momentarily for photo-taking.

Can I engage vendors for my solemnisation and are they part of the guest limit?

Any vendor that you engage for your solemnisation ceremony will need to seek the necessary clearance to resume operations based on the prevailing national guidelines.

If in doubt, your vendor can clarify with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). If they are allowed to resume operations for your solemnization, vendors and premise staff will not be counted in the guest limit for your solemnisation venue. Nevertheless, vendors and premise staff should be kept to a minimum.

Can food be served at the ceremony?

Yes, your caterer is able to serve meals in bento boxes, or to provide plated food to guests seated at their table. Self-service buffet lines are not allowed.

What are the safety measures?

Gardens by the Bay has been certified SG Clean and is compliant with all government-mandated safe management measures. ll guests and vendors will be required to check-in via SafeEntry. All guests should download and activate TraceTogether before attending the event. Other safety measures include:

  • Temperature screening

  • Safe distancing of 1 metre

  • Sanitisation of amenities like public toilets every 1 hour

  • Hand sanitisers will be made available at the venue.
