Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to book a time slot?

To ensure safe distancing and for better crowd regulation, all members are required to book an entry time slot online or via Gardens by the Bay Mobile App and to visit the attraction during the selected time slot. This will help to create a safer environment for all.

Can I use my physical membership card to enter the attraction?

For better crowd management in our attraction and to provide a contactless entry for members, Friends of the Gardens members will be required to book a time slot and use the e-Card to enter the attraction until further notice.

How many time slots can I book?

Members are allowed to book up to a total of 5 active time slots at any one time. This is to allow more members to visit during this period. If you would like to book another time slot, please utilise the booked time slot before proceeding with another booking. You may also opt to cancel your booking and rebook for another time slot.

How many people can visit the attraction for each booking made?

Individual and family members can book on the behalf of their family and friends who are Friends of Gardens members. They can have up to 5 visitors for each time slot. All visitors must be Friends of Gardens members. Members may required to show their ecard or physical card at the entrance.

How can I change my visit timeslot?

Please email friends@gardensbythebay.com.sg if you need to make changes to the time slot. Any request to change time slots is subject to availability and should be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit.

Why am I not able to access “My Membership Card” section when I click on the “Friends” icon?

It is likely that the email address or mobile number given during membership registration differs from the email address or mobile number used to login online or in the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App. Please email us at friends@gardensbythebay.com.sg with your full name, membership card number, and your updated mobile number. Upon updating your new email address or mobile number in the system within 1 working day, you will be able to access the “Friends” section online or in the Mobile App. 

Why do I see multiple accounts in the “My Membership Card” section?

Main cardmembers of Family and Family Plus memberships will be able to see multiple e-Cards of supplementary members under the same Family or Family Plus membership. You can update the mobile number and email address of the supplementary member(s) via the Mobile App. Thereafter, the supplementary member(s) access their own e-Card via the Mobile App, as membership access is tied to the registered mobile number/email.

How do I enjoy the complimentary 2-hour parking?

The present system of issuing physical carpark coupons to current members will be phased out after 31 August 2020. Current members who wish to enjoy complimentary 2-hour parking will need to apply for the Contactless Carpark Entry System by the extended deadline of 21 August 2020. To do so, please download Gardens by the Bay mobile app, click “Friends”, “My Particulars”, provide both your Car Plate and IU numbers and confirm your submission.

Please allow us at least 5 working days to process the update to our car park system. You will receive an email confirmation once your car particulars have been successfully uploaded to the parking system, and thereafter 2-hour complimentary parking will be automatically accorded via the IU number registered in our system. In the interim period, you can still continue to redeem a 2-hour car park coupon from Friends of the Gardens Centre (9.00am – 8.00pm).

How do I sign up for Friends of Gardens membership?

You can sign up for Friends of Gardens membership via the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App. Please relaunch the app upon completion of sign-up, and click on the “Friends” icon to access to your membership e-Card details. Your membership access is tied to your registered mobile number / email.

Can I sign up Friends of the Gardens membership onsite?

As part of the safety measures implemented, Friends of the Gardens membership sign-ups are strictly done through the Gardens by the Bay Mobile App only. Download Gardens by the Bay Mobile App from either Apple App Store or Google Play Store and sign up for membership in the Mobile App.
