Gardens by the Bay strives to be a model and advocate of environmental sustainability in developing and maintaining the Garden’s landscape. The Gardens was designed and built with environmental sustainability in mind. The innovative cooling system for the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, along with the lake system at the Dragonfly and Kingfisher Lakes have positioned the Gardens as a role-model for sustainable garden design and development locally and internationally. Families, students and the community-at-large can experience the thriving ecosystem and rich biodiversity at the Gardens, and learn about the creative use of design and technology for long-term environmental conservation and sustainability. Moving forward, Gardens by the Bay plans to move beyond its current sustainability practices and explore new opportunities to work with like-minded partners to turn green ambition into action. From 26 March 2021 to 25 March 2022, we invite you to join us on this journey by making a tax-deductible donation, which will help seed various projects that aim to raise the environmental sustainability bar at the Gardens and encourage our visitors to be stewards of the environment in their own ways for the benefit of future generations.
