Gift of Gardens is a community outreach initiative of Gardens by the Bay. Its Patron is President of the Republic of Singapore Madam Halimah Yacob.
Introduced in 2012 when the Gardens opened, Gift of Gardens provides complimentary access to the cooled conservatories to Singapore Residents who may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit such as those who lack the resources, or individuals with disabilities. To date, more than 100,000 Singaporeans have benefitted from the initiative.
Gardens by the Bay takes a step back to recognise and show our appreciation for those who laid the groundwork for our nation. In recognition of their contributions, Gift of Gardens community outreach initiative is expanded to benefit the Pioneer and Merdeka Generation.
