Art in the Conservatories

Students will learn the basics of art appreciation and interpretation using some of the sculptures in the Conservatories.

Learning Objectives

    • Identify visual qualities of artworks
    • Understand perspective in art
    • Make informed links between visual qualities and artist intention
    • Express thoughts and feelings evoked by artworks
    • Design their own artwork (miniature sculpture), for completion upon returning to school, with a Garden theme, inspired by the artworks they have seeneaning of global warming and name some of its causes
    • Understand the meaning of deforestation and how it is a cause of global warming

  • $150 for 1 module (1.5hr) (Excludes admission fees to Flower Dome and Cloud Forest)
